“We know that over the past decade, we have not paid attention to our installations the way we should,” said Ravi Chaudhary, assistant secretary of the Air Force for Energy, Installations and Environment.

The head of Pacific Air Force said he had no objections to India buying Russia's S-400 system "in the current environment." But -- and this is a big but -- he said India's action "will perhaps affect a future purchase by India, if they were interested in purchasing other defense equipment from us. During the exercise, the F-15EX will test the Eagle Passive Active Warning Survivability System (EPAWSS) EW suite, Lt. Gen. David Krumm says.
The exercise also served as the Air Force's third "On Ramp" demo for its Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS), demonstrating a new software for battlefield situational awareness.
